We invite you to partner with us to reach youth for Christ, strengthen communities, and help build better futures. Here are some ways you can make a difference:

Serve with Breakaway Outreach

Serve on our summer or winter camp staff (individuals or mission teams)
Coach or volunteer with a Breakaway sports ministry (regional or international)
Mentor a youth through our mentor match program
Volunteer for a KidVenturez trip or after school activity
Serve youth/children impacted by parental incarceration, delinquency, or domestic violence (read more)
Volunteer at our annual golf tournament

Share the story

Share about our ministry on social media
Talk to your church about having us do a presentation
Invite us to your next missions conference
Have us visit your Sunday School class or small group

Collect in-kind donations

Pack Christmas shoebox gifts for children affected by homelessness, domestic violence, and transitional living
Collect gifts for our “Birthday Blessings” for underprivileged children
Help feed kids in food insecure homes (inquire about specific needs)
Collect sports equipment for our sports ministries

Mobilize your community

Contact us about starting up a youth outreach in your community (we offer training)
Form a mission team from your church or school to serve on a project/mission together (contact us for current opportunities)

Donate

Give a one time gift or become a monthly partner
Sponsor a child for a camp, retreat, or KidVenturez program
Sponsor underprivileged children for Birthday Blessings

“Before the first year at camp, it was the lowest part of my life. I had lost my mother and sister in a tragic car wreck. I was being bullied at school and was planning to commit suicide when I received an invitation with a scholarship to attend Breakaway camp. I decided to put off the suicide plan and attend camp. It was the best decision I ever made. I gave my life to Jesus at camp and then Breakaway helped me get involved with a local church. My life still has ups and downs but I know now that God has me no matter what.”

“I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for Breakaway Outreach. My biological father was always incarcerated and I was sent into foster care. I started camp as a tiny little camper and now I get to serve as camp nurse! I graduated from Lee University with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and I am currently working as a Nursery and Postpartum Nurse. Breakaway Outreach is exactly what it sounds like. It’s an outreach of family and community that all come together because we truly care about God’s children.”
