A Night of Celebration

Join us for our 2024 missions banquet, a festive evening of celebrating all that God is doing through this ministry. The evening will feature dinner, community awards, a silent auction, and many highlights of Breakaway’s impact locally and globally.

Celebrating 29 years of life-changing youth ministry, highlighting:

Breakaway initiatives empowering kids facing hardship and trauma
Outreach serving justice-impacted youth
Local and regional sports ministry expansion
Partnership development around the world (Germany, Italy, UK, West Africa, Dominican Republic, Korea)
The new Breakaway Leadership Academy!!!

BONUS: After dinner, stick around for a good ol’ fashioned square dance, called by Jarrett Wilhoit of the Calico Squares. This is a family-friendly event.

We are asking friends in the community to help us with items/packages to offer in our silent auction at the banquet. Items may include, but are not limited to:

Art, tech, or sports memorabilia
Event tickets or VIP experiences (concerts, museums, theaters, amusement parks)
Vacation packages (cruise tickets, cabin stays, beach getaways, couples retreat)
Staycation packages (one or two nights at a nice hotel w/ restaurant meal package)

Themed baskets are also quite popular and can be team-based projects assembled by a church group, Sunday School class, or office team:

Breakaway Outreach is a 501(c)(3) organization. You will receive an official acknowledgement of your donated item(s), as it may be considered tax deductible.

“Before the first year at camp, it was the lowest part of my life. I had lost my mother and sister in a tragic car wreck. I was being bullied at school and was planning to commit suicide when I received an invitation with a scholarship to attend Breakaway camp. I decided to put off the suicide plan and attend camp. It was the best decision I ever made. I gave my life to Jesus at camp and then Breakaway helped me get involved with a local church. My life still has ups and downs but I know now that God has me no matter what.”

I started camp as a tiny little camper and now I get to serve as camp nurse! I graduated from Lee University with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and I am currently working as a Nursery and Postpartum Nurse. Breakaway Outreach is exactly what it sounds like. It’s an outreach of family and community that all come together because we truly care about God’s children.”
