HOPE for Children At-Risk
For over 19 years in East Tennessee, Breakaway Outreach has been providing life-changing adventure camp experiences and trauma-informed care for children at-risk.
We offer summer camp scholarships for kids affected by economic insecurity, family hardship, trauma, parental incarceration, domestic violence, and other ACEs (adverse childhood experiences). Our camps have been a place of refuge for the orphaned, the distressed, and the fatherless. Essentially all of the campers we serve would not be able to experience a summer camp without our community partners providing them full or partial scholarships.

Our campers learn all about a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. This year’s theme is “Kingdom Come,” as we will be walking the children through learning the Lord’s Prayer and understanding the principles of that prayer. The camp affords kids summertime fun, memory-making adventures, team-building activities, and resilience-shaping ministries. A gift of $280 will help provide a full scholarship for a child to attend camp.
