No Borders. No Limits. Every Child a Camp.
No Borders. No Limits. Every Child a Camp.
We believe that every child—no matter where they live or what hardships they face—deserves the chance to encounter Christ through the life-changing experience of camp.
In over 30 years of ministry, we have witnessed the irrefutable, lifelong impact of a unique Christian camp experience during the most formative years of a young person’s life. That is why we build partnerships at home and abroad—to ensure that every child, anywhere on the planet, has the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel in the life-changing context of camp.
Camps come in many different forms and structures, each uniquely designed to reach children where they are:
- Adventure camps for disadvantaged or at-risk children
- Sports camps
- Language-learning camps
- After-school camps
- Film, creative, and arts camps
- VBS camps for orphans
- Support camps for kids in domestic abuse shelters
- Mobile camps in underserved neighborhoods and juvenile centers
- Cultural exchange camps for migrant and refugee kids
Across every street and neighborhood, every culture and continent, we believe every child has a place at camp to discover God’s family and the joy of community.
Breakaway Camps for Disadvantaged Children

Camp Elevate is our flagship program that runs summer and winter camps serving disadvantaged children and those facing significant hardship. Drawing on over 30 years of experience and a trauma-informed approach, we provide safe, nurturing spaces where young people can process their pain, encounter the life-changing hope of Jesus, and breakaway from cycles of hurt, addiction, fatherlessness, familial incarceration, domestic violence, abuse, despair, and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Our Breakaway kids rely on scholarships from community partners to help send them to camp. For many, this experience becomes the starting point for year-round mentoring relationships that bring stability, encouragement, and spiritual growth. READ MORE ABOUT CAMP ELEVATE HERE.
Breakaway creates safe spaces where young people can encounter Jesus, build character, develop life skills, form relationships through meaningful shared experiences, and become part of a lasting community.
Community-Wide Sports Camps

Sports bring people and communities together. Breakaway partners with local churches to leverage sports in their community for reaching families and sharing the Good News of Jesus through the vehicle of sports. Our “Sports Camp in a Box” is a turnkey model for creating effective outreach events that engage communities for Christ, and cultivate “next steps” follow-up opportunities. Breakaway sports camps are safe and fun environments focused on making sport a rewarding experience for each camper, regardless of age or skill level. We have the versatility to run full week camps or daily clinics, depending on each unique missional context. Contact us if you’d like to chat about running a sports camp at your church.
Mobile Breakaway Camps
Breakaway facilitates a myriad of mobile camps that can adapt to almost any venue or community setting. Instead of transporting kids to a traditional residential camp, we bring the adventure of camp directly to them! Our mobile camps have been hosted at community centers, school campuses, underserved neighborhoods, and transitional living facilities — including juvenile detention centers, homeless and domestic abuse shelters, and refugee communities. Through team-building activities, recreation, sports, creative arts, and more, these camps create unforgettable experiences that connect young people with the Gospel right where they live and do life every day.
