At one time both of his parents were incarcerated. He’s overcome so many odds to become a tremendous role model for other kids facing adversity. Kobie’s story is a testimony of how Breakaway camps are bringing kids to Christ, empowering them with social resilience, and equipping them to become leaders in their generation.
Update: As a young adult, Kobie now serves as a NextGen Ambassador for Breakaway Outreach. He continues to serve on our summer camp staff at home and has been to Germany multiple times, where he served as the catalyst for launching a new basketball camp empowering kids for Jesus.
