For more than 20 years, we have provided gospel-centered summer camp experiences for at-risk and trauma-impacted children across East Tennessee. From the beginning, our camps have been rooted in the love of Christ—creating environments where grace is modeled, hope is restored, and children are welcomed into life-giving community.
Our camps are designed to be faith-building and resilience-shaping, offering children a safe place to laugh, play, learn, and grow. Through consistent relationships, encouraging mentors, and VBS-style teaching, kids experience what it means to be seen, known, and valued. Camp becomes a place where trust grows, joy is rediscovered, and faith begins to take root.
Belonging Before Believing
For many trauma-impacted children—and for most of our Breakaway campers who come with little or no church background or Bible literacy—belonging comes before believing. When life has been shaped by instability or loss, trust grows through presence, consistency, and care. At camp, belonging is freely offered. In that space, hearts open, questions are welcomed, and children encounter the message of Jesus as an invitation filled with grace and hope—often for the very first time.

Camp Elevate exists to create space for children to belong even before they believe, allowing faith to grow through relationship, encouragement, and love. Over the years, we have seen lives transformed as children discover they are not alone, they matter, and they are deeply loved by God.
