The Adventure Begins Here!

KidVenturez™ is a Breakaway initiative that enriches the lives of youth and children through adventure trips, weekend retreats, and other faith-centered excursions. Designed to build faith, foster social resilience, and create mentoring opportunities, the “KV” program reaches kids navigating hardship with experiences that inspire and empower. Adventures have included wilderness retreats, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, outdoor recreation, amusement parks, go-kart racing, sports events, NASCAR races, concerts, aquariums, zoos, museums, discovery centers, cultural exchanges, and refreshing weekend getaways to the mountains or beach.

The KidVenturez™ program is a refuge for kids facing adverse childhood experiences (ACES), helping to build a child’s self-esteem, restore dignity, and boost social resilience.

We offer KidVenturez™ scholarships for disadvantaged and underprivileged children in our community. The program has been able to bless kids affected by economic insecurity, poverty, familial hardships, grief, and trauma. Our community is a safe and inclusive place where every child can experience God’s love, encouraging interactions, and meaningful friendships.

Breakaway’s KidVenturez™ program has now reached the shores of the Dominican Republic and Madagascar, partnering with local friends in these regions to bring beachside adventure camps to children—many experiencing life beyond their village for the very first time. These unforgettable excursions offer more than just fun; they provide life-giving community, joyful recreation, uplifting worship, engaging Bible discussions, and so much more.
