Breakaway Outreach facilitates a myriad of camps and retreats for youth and children (overnight summer camps, community day camps, sports and rec camps, wilderness trips).

Summer Camps

Camp Elevate is our flagship summer camp for at-risk youth and underprivileged children. Most of the young people attending these camps are from single parent families and economically disadvantaged households. We serve children of incarcerated parents, kids affected by domestic violence, foster children, inner city youth, orphans, refugees, and many other young people facing adversity in life. These children depend on scholarships from community partners to help send them to camp. READ MORE

Mobile Camps

Breakaway also facilitates mobile recreation camps which we can bring into just about any context. Instead of putting kids on a bus and taking them off to a residential camp, we bring the adventures of camp to them! It’s a “turnkey” day camp that we like to call “camp in a box.” We have facilitated these mobile camps at under-served neighborhoods, community centers, school campuses, and transitional living centers (juvenile detention centers, homeless/domestic abuse shelters, refugee communities, etc.). Utilizing team-building recreation, creative arts, and various serve projects, these faith-based camps champion a spirit of community, foster spiritual enrichment, and promote social compassion in young people.

Global Sports Camps

We mobilize mission teams and equip indigenous leaders around the globe to staff sports camps that reach kids with the gospel, give opportunities to vulnerable children, strengthen communities, and supplement church planting movements. See GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS
