Give the Gift of HOPE this Christmas
We are asking you to join us in bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to youth inmates, younger siblings of juvenile offenders, and prisoners' children this holiday season. Through our Operation Christmas Hope outreach, you can sponsor a child, send a Christmas blessing, and bring joy to hurting hearts this Christmas.
Here are some ways that you can impact a child this Christmas:
- $10 - Impact a youth inmate. About 2 million youth will spend this Christmas in a juvenile detention center. For a gift of $10, your sponsored child in one of these juvenile facilities will receive a gift package containing a Gospel music CD, a Christian sports magazine, Tony Dungy’s Perseverance In Pain DVD, and Jimmy Larche's book 13-Foot Coffins; a riveting story about how the Gospel transformed Jimmy's life in a juvenile center.
- $25 - Impact a prisoners’ child or younger sibling of an incarcerated teen. There are more than 1.7 million children who have a parent in prison. These children are six times more likely to end up in prison later in life, but you can help us plant a seed of intervention with a gift of $25 (the average Christmas gift per child). You can also purchase a gift yourself and arrange for it to get to us in time for Christmas delivery.
- Prepare gift packages. Your family, office team, youth group, or Sunday School class can collect and wrap gift packages for our Christmas outreach in juvenile centers, to prisoners’ kids, or for the under-served neighborhoods and inner-city communities we serve.
