It's All Good In The Hood VBS Kit
After twenty+ years of ministering to at-risk youth, children of prisoners, and inner city kids, we tailored this VBS curriculum as a resource to minister to disadvantaged children and kids in urban, under-served communities. The discussion formats take into consideration various factors associated with children at-risk. The material can easily be used for summer camps, backyard Bible clubs, inner city neighborhood outreach, or your church’s Vacation Bible School. The theme centers around Romans 8:28. We pray that this resource would be a blessing to you and your children.

Restoring Hope in Broken Communities
Poverty is not only a lack of money, it's a lack of sense of meaning.
Often, this type of poverty rears itself with urban young people most prevalently during the summer months. With no school classes, academics, or extracurricular activities to provide a sense of structure and support for a child, summertime can be the breeding ground for mischief, waywardness, and trouble.
Some of our most intense outreach in urban communities happens throughout the summer months and that’s why we are asking for your urgent prayers as we prepare to launch our Summer of Hope 2013 initiatives.
The Story Behind Kidz Camps
His mother was a crack addict. His story had echoing parallels to the architects of the Columbine shooting. His life tragically ended just before his 21st birthday. But Denny was a part of the catalyst of what is now changing so many lives through Breakaway’s summer adventure camps for at-risk youth and children.

Somebody's Angel: Christmas Outreach
Christmas outreach to prisoners' kids, inner-city children, under-served communities, and juvenile detention centers.
Pray for Juvenile Inmates and Prisoners' Kids
Two children became a part of our Breakaway family last year when a relative signed them up for our KidVenturez program for prisoners' kids. A couple of months ago, their father was murdered one week after being released from a state prison. The road ahead will be difficult to navigate for the seven and eight year olds, but we also know the power of prayer and that having our partners interceding for them will open up many windows of hope and doors for enrichment.
