Churches can partner with us in the following ways:

• Praying for the vision and communities we serve.
• Include Breakaway Outreach in your annual missions giving.
• Promote this missions movement in your congregation.
• Provide one or two mentors per year from your congregation.
• Send a serve team on a short term missions project.
• Be a host facility for some of our community events.

Volunteer

There are a myriad of serve and volunteer opportunities with Breakaway:

• Volunteering with after school clubs or neighborhood outreach
• Visiting juvenile detention centers
• Being a summer camp counselor or KidVenturez team leader
• Adopting a prisoners' family
• Mentoring at-risk children and youth
• Bringing your church group for a serve project
• Going on a short term mission trip
• Collecting food items for our Snack Pack program

Internships

Breakaway Outreach is a great fit for student internships. Our organization works with college and university students who would like to complete an internship, practicum, or field education experience for their academic focus. We have worked with a variety of students to fulfill their academic requirements in a supportive and exciting ministry environment. Internships typically range from 3 to 12 months. We are flexible in developing your internship.

Urban Mission Projects

Is your youth group, college group, or church small group looking for a meaningful mission opportunity? Breakaway provides serve opportunities for teams to experience mission work in cross-cultural and urban settings. We will arrange housing and work sites for your group and you will have the opportunity to experience meaningful Christ-centered mission work in the most needy areas of our city.
